In all my 'Meh' drama and self-pity I nearly forgot to post about my Saturday... I ended up doing some catering on a beautiful superyacht (a sunseeker, my favourite) as it cruised around the harbour and stopped at Rose Bay for lunch. I was the only staff on board, and while they quite possibly didn't get the most attentive service out of me, I made sure they were fed and watered, and I got to enjoy the view and stand outside on the deck quite a bit.

Then Terrie, her friend Aggie, and I went to the final night of the Speigeltent. We saw Lior play. I had only heard a couple of his songs, but I really liked them. Especially 'Daniel'. I wasn't quite prepared for what a beautiful singer he is live. I would even go as far as saying that he is better live than on CD.

His song, This Old Love, is so romantic it moved a majority of the audience to tears. There were this older couple sitting in front of me, and about half way through the song they turned to look at each other, and smiled, and if you listen to the song, you'll understand why that made me cry.

Aggie also decided it's her wedding song. Not that she's getting married anytime soon... After the show we went outside to buy all 3 of his CD's and he was standing there, talking to everyone and even signed the CD's we bought. It was so refreshing to see a singer without the ego!

Anyway, here is 'This Old Love'. If you have a chance, you should listen to it
